Digital Printing

Lewis Creative Technologies has a long history of early adoption of the latest technologies. In the 1950’s, we were one of the first printing companies in the area to transition to offset printing from letterpress. In the late 1980’s, we were leading the pack again through the implementation of desktop publishing and digital imagesetting. In 2001, we took the technological plunge once again, and acquired a Xerox 2060 color digital printer.

The rapid growth of our digital color business over the next few years resulted in the installation of our first Xerox iGen3 color digital press in 2004. LCT was the first commercial printing company in Central Virginia to install an iGen3.  In September of 2006, we installed our second iGen3, making us the only commercial printing company in Virginia to have two of these systems.

Our iGen3 presses give us the capability of producing full color variable data printing with offset quality. With speeds up to 6600 impressions per hour, and a maximum sheet size of 14.33 x 22.5 inches, the iGen3 gives us the flexibility and productivity to meet or exceed the requirements of your most demanding applications.
